Support Pack Analysis Module
The Nexus Suite Support Pack Analysis Module provides an automated process to target the impact of SAP HCM Support Pack changes on your SAP systems. All utilised payroll processes are examined, and any potential impacts are highlighted via the Support Pack Analysis Workbench. The components of the SAP HCM system to be examined are completely configurable, allowing the user to include any component not delivered as standard with the Nexus Suite Support Pack Analysis Module.
From the Support Pack Analysis Workbench, a series of comprehensive yet easy to read reports are available which give complete visibility of the impacts of the SAP HCM Support Packs on your SAP system. These reports allow targeted testing to be planned and executed, ensuring only the processes that may be affected by the Support Packs are checked and validated.
By default, the following components of the SAP HCM system are analysed:
- Payroll Schemas, including all sub schema, functions, rules, operations and wage types
- Standard SAP Payroll modules, including Termination Organiser, Advance Payment Module, Payment Summary Generation, Payment Summary File Creation, PA/PD Infotypes etc.
- Standard SAP regularly used reports, including Wage Type Reporter, Employee Details (RPLDETQ1), Employee Summary (RPLSUMQ0), Payment Summary Listing Report, etc
As part of the analysis, the Nexus Suite Support Pack Analysis Module also identifies:
- Any impacted SAP Programs/Reports that have been copied
- Any impacted SAP objects used in customer developments
- Any impacted SAP objects scheduled in a batch process
Nexus Suite Support Pack Analysis Module enables organisations to realise the following business benefits:

- Resources with the business knowledge required to test the support pack impacts can be instantly identified
- History tracking, ensuring any activities performed in prior Support Pack Analysis runs can be accessed for reference in later Support Pack Analysis runs

- Country Independence, ensuring the benefits can be realised in any SAP supported country
